Eyes4Everest: providing relief at the top of the world

Eyes4Everest is a charity that delivers eyecare to Himalayan communities.

It was founded in 2013 by Sydney optometrist, Shaun Change, who, after trekking near Mt. Everest in Nepal was moved by his discovery that people in the region were not getting even the most basic eye care.

In 2019, Eyes4Everest examined 478 patients in the region and distributed 49 sets of glasses. AFT Pharmaceuticals provided assistance with a donation of 50 boxes of HYLO-FORTE® eye drops, meeting a critical need for a population which suffers from a high prevalence of dry eye syndrome.
